Social Mobility Foundation event in Glasgow

Following up their success last year, CH2M volunteers James McCann and Emma Towle organized the 2017 Engineering Futures Day in our Glasgow office on April 6, 2017. Students selected by our strategic partner, the Social Mobility Foundation (SMF), joined CH2M for a day of presentations and activities focused on developing a career in engineering.

Many employees joined the students during the day to share their experiences with CH2M. The 15- to 17-year-olds had a chance to discuss career opportunities in our industry and learn about interview skills and CV/resume preparation.

“Thank you, Glasgow,” said Ellen Sandberg, executive director of the CH2M Foundation. “The Social Mobility Foundation is a key strategic STEM partner, and you are deepening and leveraging our investment. Fantastic employee engagement and inspiring students.”
