What? Me? Mentor?

Informal mentoring, such as working with more junior colleagues who were going through the things I had experienced a few years earlier, is something that I have always done. So working with the organisation, Social Mobility Foundation and an engineering student was a fantastic opportunity to put mentoring into a more formal capacity. The student I was matched with was incredibly driven, gifted and determined and left me wondering what I had to offer and at which point I thought – What? Me? Mentoring? I have nothing to offer!
